Helmet Oakley ARO5 Race - Matte Black

ARO5 Race was designed for optimal performance and maximum breathability while on the road. The ARO5 Race features an aerodynamic, ventilated design that significantly increases airflow through 19 vents. Lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, the ARO5 Race provides the necessary edge to outrun the pack. Combined with additional technical advances in optical integration, comfort and protection, the ARO5 Race is designed to go fast.

The BOA 360° fit system includes an adjustable dial that provides a more secure fit and maximizes safety. Overall improvements to the shell shape allow the ARO5 Race to sit lower on the head for better balance, while conforming more naturally to the curves of your skull.

The ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, thanks to a new shell and other internal modifications.

The Mips® Air safety system is a low-friction layer built into the helmet, designed to reduce rotational movement of the head, helping to reduce harmful forces that might otherwise impact the head.

The ARO5 Race features new ventilation openings in the front and top to significantly increase airflow and breathability. In total, there are 19 openings across the top, side and back sections.

The Ionic ™ Antimicrobial lining is sweat activated, keeping things cool and odors under control.

Front vents give riders a great place to easily store their glasses. Unobtainium® grips hold goggle frames in place, while openings in the foam inside the helmet prevent temples from injuring the head on impact, creating a simple and intuitive goggle storage area for riders.

ARO5 Race features a branded badge with an Iiridium® coating, mirroring the colors of the Prizm™ lenses found on Oakley eyewear. Each badge color is unique to the helmet color, and all celebrate the heritage of Oakley eyewear.
